Suspended above the central staircase and mezzanine dining level of Black+Blue Toronto, a series of large cylindrical chandeliers defines the vertical core of the space.
Re-engineered and realized by YAOJUN BUILD, each piece is formed from stainless steel mesh, finished in a deep blue tone. The open structure preserves transparency across levels, while enclosing a set of circular luminaires that remain clearly visible from both upper and lower perspectives.
From this vantage point, the installation reveals its spatial precision—
aligned with the balcony edge, staircase axis, and dining layout, creating a continuous visual flow through the double-height volume.
Engineered to hold form, while appearing weightless.
